ATLUS Online, Kongregate Join Forces to Release Titles on Popular Service

To many of those that follow the industry, ATLUS is best known for their role in publishing offbeat, Japanese titles in such western countries as this one. Soon, thanks to a newly announced partnership with Kongregate, a digital division of Gamestop, ATLUS might become synonymous with another style of play: massively-multiplayer online real-time strategy games. That literal mouthful of words does, in fact, describe an actual entity produced by the company’s Online division; Knights of the Sky is a free-to-play MMORTS that tasks players with captaining a sky castle in a war against the heavens. In case you couldn’t tell, yes, this is definitely an ATLUS title.

Knights of the Sky is available now via the Kongregate online portal. Players using the online service will be able to access the game’s upcoming The Crystal War update. More titles from ATLUS Online, such as the sci-fi MMO BattleSpace, will also become available on Kongregate upon their official release.

May actually give those games a shot…I have to say, though my opinions on Gamestop are mixed, I’ve been a fan of Kongregate since before they got bought.
