While it had previously been rumored that the upcoming sequel to highly successful Call of Duty: Black Ops is to be released in November, which has been customary for the the  previous three Call of Duty games,  there is a rather official looking poster making its way around the net that seems to indicate the game will actually be released in May. The poster which can be seen here says, 05.02.12 “Return for Debriefing” puts a focus on the original developers of Black Ops, Treyarch is back at the helm.

It is worth noting that until we hear something specific from Treyarch or Activision that this is nothing more than speculation. Here’s hoping though that we get a shot at this game six months before the traditional release date.
