Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that the Midway Arcade App is now fully compatible with the super cool iCade (arcade-style cabinet for the iPad).The cabinet fits the iPad perfectly and connects via Bluetooth to let players use a full joystick and buttons.

Midway Arcade includes 10 classic arcade games, including Spy Hunter, Rampage, Joust and Defender, with the option of purchasing more titles within the app. The Fantasy Game Pack for example, includes Gauntlet I, Gauntlet II and Wizard of Wor, while the Action Game Pack unlocks APB, NARC and Total Carnage. Players compete against their friends, earn achievements and dominate online leaderboards.

For anyone who has already purchased Midway Arcade, the new iCade support will come with the latest software update. The Fantasy Game Pack and Action Game Packs are available for $0.99 each through In-App Purchase.
