Bioware Offers Free Multiplayer Expansion For Fans
Bioware and EA have seen their share of negative publicity as of late, but their latest move may help them get back into the good graces of gamers. Mass Effect 3 players will be able to download a free update for the Galaxy At War Multiplayer mode.
Players looking for the “best” ending for Mass Effect 3 will likely invest some time in this mode, and they’ll have some new characters and weapons to use in their quest for Galactic Readiness. Players will now be able to play as an Asari Justicar Adept, and a Krogan Battlemaster Vanguard. In addition, the Geth and the Batarians will now be represented in multiplayer as playable characters.
Players will use their new characters to retake Firebase Hyrda and Firebase Condor. The former is a former Quarian facility that has been transformed into an energy plant and the latter is a war zone on one of Palaven’s moons. Players can also look forward to new weapons and new consumable abilities.
American gamers can download the expansion on April 10th. European gamers will have to wait a day longer.
