Sid Meier’s Civilization V: Gods & Kings Dated for June 19
Having shown off Sid Meier’s Civilization V: Gods & Kings, at GDC this year, 2K Games did not release an actual release date for the Civ 5’s expansion pack.
However, today, 2K Games announced that the expansion will arrive in North America on June 19, followed by an international release on June 22.
Developed by Firaxis Games, Sid Meier’s Civilization V: Gods & Kings adds new civilizations, units, leaders, technologies and the return of religion and espionage. Players will also be allowed to found the first Pantheon of Gods and spread its religion across the world, while also being able to send in spies to steal others’ technologies.
All in all, players will get nine new civilizations, each with its own new leader; nine new wonders; three original scenarios; and dozens of new units, buildings, technologies and resources have also been added.
