Ghost Recon Commander in Development for Facebook

Ubisoft today announced that are bringing Ghost Recon to Facebook this Spring with Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Commander.

Being developed by Loot Drop, the game aims to bring high production value and a core game to the social website, while a mobile version is also currently in development.  The game will allow players to develop their own Ghost to take command of the battlefield, while also working as a companion to Ghost Recon Future Soldier, which releases on May 22.

Players will be able to unlock bonuses and exclusive items that can be used on the console game as well as on Ghost Recon Online.  Ghosts will be fully customizable with weapons, armor and futuristic gadgets.  The game will also support co-op, which lets players join their friends on missions, or serve as mercenaries for hire.

You can check out more info on the game at http://www.facebook.com/GhostReconCommander.
