Borderlands 2 is a title that only last year entered the public conscious with its announcement in last September’s issue of Game Informer. In what can only be considered a quick turnaround, Borderlands 2 will be making its playable debut at next week’s PAX East convention in Boston, Massachusetts.
2K Games and Gearbox will be bringing their popular loot-and-shoot sequel to the show floor with a demo that allows players to take control of either Salvador the Gunzerker or Maya the Siren. The mayhem will take place in Caustic Caverns, a map designed perfectly for the co-op gameplay that has made Borderlands such a hit with fans of the industry. Those who stop by and partake in the fun will also leave with free swag in the form of PAX East baseball tee bearing the Vault’s insignia.
Gearbox Software will be busy elsewhere in the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center as they host their very own panel dealing with Borderlands 2 and other projects they have planned for the future. This panel will be taking place on Sunday at 4:30 PM in the Manticore Theater.
