The Face of Call of Duty Leaves Activision

by on March 27, 2012

Robert Bowling, Creative Strategist for Call of Duty, has announced that he will be resigning from his position in the Call of Duty brand and from Activision in general.  Bowling had previously served as Infinity Ward’s Community Manager, and has been with the studio since 2006.

Naturally, when a developer leaves a job working on the most successful gaming franchise of recent times, eyebrows are sure to be raised.  I have many theories about this departure, but most of them involve aliens and pirates.  Perhaps some of our readers could share some more sane theories.
