Many moons ago, Ubisoft made public that the beta for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, a further iteration upon the popular Ghost Recon shooting franchise, would be exclusive to the Xbox 360 and could only be accessed via Splinter Cell: Conviction’s disc. Today, Ubisoft made public that the beta for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, a multi-platform blockbuster, will be made available for the Playstation 3, too.

Future Soldier’s beta is closed and exclusive. Beyond this, Ubisoft has said little in regards to the method by which one might gain access to the popular title’s beta testing process. It can be assumed that Playstation Plus subscribers on the Playstation 3 and Splinter Cell: Conviction owners on the Xbox 360 will be granted early access with public access coming at a slightly later date.

Don’t fret over the restrictions too long; Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, in its entirety, will launch this May.
