Assassin’s Creed 3 on the Wii U Boasts Tablet Advantages
As reported by Nintengen, new details about Assassin’s Creed 3 and its Wii-U capabilities have been released. Though some of the information was already known at last year’s E3, other parts are new and a bit exciting.
Most of the information revolves around the Wii U’s tablet being used as an interface for the Animus. Throughout the game, the tablet can be used to interact with the Animus, revealing information from the vast scope of Assassin’s Creed lore without interrupting the gameplay taking place on-screen. The controller can also be used as a guide and map that would leave the TV screen open for combat and free-roaming. There are also plans of allowing weapon selection through use of the touch-screen to streamline combat. Additionally, the Wii-U tablet could be used as an alternate location for Eagle Vision, perhaps allowing simultaneous views of both normal vision and Eagle Vision.
More information about Assassin’s Creed 3 on the Wii-U is sure to come. Assassin’s Creed 3 releases on PC, XB360, and PS3 on October 30, 2012.
