Well, the fundraiser for Child’s Play to change the ending of Mass Effect 3 has been shut down. Yep, that’s right. No, no one is being a meany here…except the haters. They’re always mean. However, Child’s Play is worried about having “causes” attached to them according to Forbes who had emailed Child’s Play about the shutdown of Retake Mass Effect. If you don’t understand think if someone did a ChipIn account dedicated to doing something evil in the world of video games but it’s all for charity, namely Child’s Play. This could put Child’s Play in a bad spot and lead down a slippery slope. It’s unfortunate that RTM was taken down, they were actually doing something healthy about their problem instead of trolling Bioware. However, in this day and age people will take advantage of any small detail or precedent you give them. Oh well, at least there is Adventure Time.
