Nintendo Now Has Music Videos… Unlike MTV…

by on March 22, 2012

Since last July Nintendo has been offering video content directly to 3DS owners through the Nintendo Video application.  Starting today, Nintendo will be offering a selection of premium 3D music videos to 3DS owners.  All you have to do is download the free Nintendo Video app from the eShop and your 3DS will download the videos automatically when it’s in sleep mode!

The first batch of music videos will include “The Rifle’s Spiral” from The Shins, “Sabotage” from Wale, and “So Good” from B.o.B.  Future updates will include “Skyscrapers” from OK Go, “Breakn’ a Sweat” by Skrillex,  “Save World Get Girl” by I Fight Dragons, and “Underneath The Sycamore” by Death Cab for Cutie.

It seems like they have a pretty nice variety of artists, and it’s free, so there’s no reason not to check out some 3D music videos.
