Nintendo Holding a Public Preview of Spirit Camera in San Francisco

by on March 22, 2012

On Friday night, March 30, Nintendo will be giving gamers in the San Francisco area a first-look at Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir for the Nintendo 3DS.

The company has scheduled a preview event that is open to the public (18 years or older) on a first-come, first-serve basis that will grant them hands-on time with the game, while enjoying food, drinks and a few scares.

Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir uses the 3DS’ built-in camera and augmented-reality features, along with an included 16-page AR Book to view ghostly images and interact with the world in the story.  Gamers will have to figure out what’s real and what’s not during the creepy adventure.

The event will take place at the San Remo Hotel at 2237 Mason Street in San Francisco and will be open from 9 p.m. to midnight.  People under 18 will not be admitted.

Meanwhile, read up on the game at http://spiritcamera.nintendo.com.
