Get it ready by May, because Tuesday Gameloft announced a new licensing agreement with Sony Pictures Consumer Products to have Men In Black 3 on mobile devices in time for the movie’s worldwide premiere on May 25, 2012.

“Gameloft is ecstatic to have the chance to team with Sony Pictures Consumer Products in working with such a successful franchise as Men in Black on the Men in Black 3 mobile game,” said Karine Kaiser, Vice President of Marketing and Licensing for Gameloft, who promises not only a game that casual mobile players will enjoy, but that fans of the MIB series will find faithful to the mythos. “We see this as a great opportunity to provide a new and immersive way to engage with the films’ iconic characters and distinctive universe.”

The freemium game will incorporate some of the most popular characters and aliens from the franchise, and allow players to get their hands on Gravity Bombs, Noisy Crickets, and their very own Flashy-Thingy… also known as a Neuralyzer.

“The mobile game is an important part of our marketing for the film,” said Mark Caplan, Vice President of Consumer Products for Sony Pictures Consumer Products, Inc. “Together, we have developed a game which will bring many hours of interactivity by giving fans keys to the expansive universe of Men In Black.”

The Men In Black 3 mobile game will be released for iOS, the Android operating system, and featured phones.
