Maybe you’re interested in The Old Republic, but you don’t want to pay $60 dollars only to find out it’s not your thing.  Luckily for you, Bioware is giving gamers the opportunity to try out their new MMO for free.

Starting this Thursday, gamers can take advantage of the Weekend Pass Free Trial which will let players delve into the adventure with one of The Old Republic’s 8 classes.  From there, players will jump into the Star Wars universe where the Jedi and the Sith are locked in a battle for the fate of the galaxy.

New players will be able to play through the origin story of each class, can battle other players in the PvP Warzone, and can play through early campaign Flashpoints.  If you’re interested in giving The Old Republic a try head to www.starwarstheoldrepublic.com/weekendpass to get started.  Put a move on it, because you’ll have from 12:01 AM (CDT) on Thursday to 2:00 AM (CDT) on Monday.
