It seems that retailer-exclusive pre-order bonuses are getting to be more popular than ever, and Prototype 2 is jumping on the bandwagon. Any pre-order for Prototype 2 will provide access to the RADNET edition content, 7 weeks worth of DLC challenges and add-0ns. Already announced was the “Bio-Bomb Butt Kicker” move that is exclusive to GameStop pre-orders, a move which allows Sgt. Heller to…well, kick people in the butt. Perhaps if you weren’t impressed by that bonus, perhaps you’ll check out either Amazon or Best Buy.

Amazon.com is offering access to the first issue of the Prototype 2 digital comic made by Dark Horse Comics. Called “The Anchor,” the issue will start to chronicle Alex Mercer’s transformation into James Heller’s antagonist. Best Buy, in the meantime is offering the Hardened Steel Vehicle upgrade as well as an exclusive Prototype 2 Steelbook case. Best Buy will also be hosting a developer chat with some of the folks from Radical Entertainment; more information about that will release later.
