Over the years, we’ve seen Solid Snake (and, in some cases, Big Boss) take his adventures from the snowy shores of Shadow Moses to the dank corridors of a seafaring tanker. One place we never see him enough, though, is in the palm of our hands, an area that he will be infiltrating upon release of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for the Playstation Vita.
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, released last fall for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, highlights two of the franchise’s spotlight titles: Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. This is the first time that Metal Gear Solid 2 will be appearing on a portable system and the first time that either game will be appearing in high definition on a handheld device.
Boasting improved visuals, touch-screen mechanics, and trophy compatibility as is only possible on the Playstation Vita, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will be available this summer.
