Metroid Finally Hits the Nintendo eShop

For Nintendo 3DS owners that were a part of Nintendo’s Ambassadors Program, Metroid has been readily available for play via the system’s eShop (raises hand!).

However, for everyone else, Metroid has simply remained on the hypothetical Most Wanted list for retro gaming goodness.

Well today, Nintendo has heard your pleas and finally released Metroid ($4.99) onto the eShop for everyone to download.

Along with Metroid, a playable demo of Crush 3D is also available, as well as DSiWare title Aahh! Spot the Difference.  As far as WiiWare is concerned, only a demo of Aya and the Cubes of Light has been added to the Wii Shop Channel.
