Sony revealed via their PlayStation Blog that the PlayStation Network will undergo some “significant maintenance” this Thursday, March 1 and will begin at 8 a.m. PT. Sony says the maintenance will last for several hours and be down until approximately 10 p.m. PT.
Gamers who happen to be signed onto PSN when the maintenance goes into effect, will be signed out and will not be able to sign back in until the completion of the maintenance. So that means that no PS Store, PS Home or Account Management access will be available.
In addition, PSN enabled websites will also be down, which include their PS Blog page. Sony says their PlayStation Twitter feed will be operational and let gamers know when they can sign back on.
So if you were looking to get some gaming in this Thursday, better plan on playing some single-player stuff.
