Atari Holds 40th Anniversary Contest

Even though it’s not their birthday, Atari is kicking off and early 40th year anniversary celebration…with pong included! The company will be holding an Pong Indie Developer Challenge. Game developers will have to re-create the classic Pong into their own image for the iPhone, iPad, and iTouch. Entrants have a possibility to win 100,000 dollars and see their version of Pong in the app store spotlight. Finalists will see their games on the app store with the Atari logo attached and winning entrants will receive a long term publishing agreement with Atari. This agreement will include lovely resources such as development, creative resources, and full marketing support. Game developers have starting today, February 28th, until March 31st of this year at 11:59 PM ET to submit their version of Pong to www.atari.com/pongdeveloperchallenge

Hurry! Don’t waste time! Go Go Go!
