A South African game retailer has got the rumor mill a’churnin, all thanks to a pre-order.

As reported by Gaming Everything, BT Games has begun to accept pre-orders for God of War IV, a title not even confirmed to be in existence by Sony yet. Still, when you consider a few other pieces of information…a slot on a developer’s LinkedIn profile, some space on a composer’s resume, and, well, the millions of dollars the God of War franchise has secured for Sony… well, it’s not hard to imagine there’s a God of War IV floating around out there somewhere.

According to BT Games, God of War IV may drop in February of 2013, but that date is subject to change.
