Today, THQ has given WWE fans a two-hit combo, as they have just released the iOS remake of WWE WrestleFest, the highly popular 90s arcade game with a brand new roster, new modes, and a revamped design.

“WWE WrestleFest greatly complements our WWE videogames portfolio by delivering a unique and captivating way for fans to connect with the virtual WWE experience,” said Danny Bilson, Executive Vice President, Core Games, THQ. “The game’s arcade-style play, combined with present day WWE content and hints of nostalgia, is a perfect fit for handheld platforms like the iPhone and iPad.”

However, THQ also announced today that they are currently developing versions for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, PC and Android devices.

So if you don’t have an iPhone or iPad, never fear, WrestleFest is coming your way sooner or later!

The iPhone/iPod version sells for $2.99 while the iPad version is available for $3.99.
