Nintendo 3DS Surpasses DS, Wii to Become Fastest-Selling Console in Japan
There was a time, not so long ago, in which the Nintendo 3DS was viewed as a tremendous letdown that put the “Big N” on a collision course with certain failure. That time, however, is a time long gone by as the Nintendo 3DS has now become the fastest-selling console in Japan.
This achievement, acknowledged by figures released by Media Create citing over five million sales in the platform’s first 52 weeks on the market, puts Nintendo 3DS sales ahead of those belonging to sister platforms in the Game Boy Advance, DS, and Wii.
