Those of you who are huge fans of Enslaved: Odyssey to the West are up for a big disappointment: the planned DLC that would have added multiplayer support and other single-player content has been cancelled.
As reported by That Video Game Blog , the reason for the cancellation is because there weren’t that many huge fans of the game. At least, not financially speaking.
As Enslaved’s DLC goes the route of Clover Studios (great games that just didn’t make enough sales), one must hope that, with the plethora of Call of Duty and Maddens out there, that little gems in the rough like Enslaved will still be able to make enough money to experiment with new ideas and keep their studios alive. The team that put the game together, Ninja Theory, is currently working on DmC, the Devil May Cry reboot.
