As you all recall, Notch tweeted that he wanted to talk with Tim Schafer about funding a sequel to the Psychonauts game that came out ages ago. Well, Kotaku has revealed that they’ve been talking all right. Last week at DICE Kotaku chatted with Schafer and he, somewhat, spilled the beans.

Basically Schafer said Notch that he wanted Psychonauts 2’s budget to match the 13 million that went into the first Psychonauts game. When Schafer mentioned that amount of money Notch said “Yeah, I can do that.” Doesn’t that just sound so nonchalant? Notch is making thirteen million dollars sound like pocket change in my opinion. Oh it’s just so amazing how far Notch has come, from starting up Mojang to making a game that has grown so exponentially. I think we should all send Notch a thank you card once a Pyschonauts paid for by Mojang becomes official. Oh yeah.
