Although Eat Sleep Play’s big property Twisted Metal is yet to hit store shelves, it looks like some of the people behind the game won’t be with the company by the time the game is available. The staff of the developer will be cut by eight, leaving them with 26 employees, reports G4TV. None of those 26 will be named David Jaffe.

The studio plans to focus on iOS games in the future and no longer need Jaffe’s expertise for smaller developments. Jaffe however,  is reportedly looking to go into the mobile platform on his own. While he has no plans of making the next Angry Birds, he will be opening his own studio and developing his own games.
