Parallel Kingdom Hits One Million Players

Software and game developer PerBlue is giving people a reason to check out their location-based, massively multiplayer roleplaying game. In fact, they’ve got a million of them. That’s the amount of people who have joined Parallel Kingdom since the game launched three years ago. To celebrate the achievement, players will be presented a “1M Players” trophy in-game to display which can then be displayed on their home turf.

The free-to-play was the first of its kind as a MMO that utilizes location-specific data to alter gameplay. If you don’t have the game on your favorite iOS or Android device, fear not! PerBlue recently fought their way into the turf of Facebook, giving players the opportunity to start up a game with a clean slate on the social networking giant. Still not convenient enough? The game is also available on the Chrome Web Store and Kongregate. The only way it could be any easier to get your hands on this game is if someone personally came and installed it for you. And they just might offer that service soon.
