Downloaded PS Vita Games to be Cheaper

by on February 1, 2012

One of the big selling points for the upcoming Sony handheld, the Playstation Vita, is the ability to download games rather than have to deal with the physical disc. Now that benefit is going to be even better for gamers that go for the virtual copy of games.

According to a representative from Sony, “Yes… there will be a discount on the downloadable PS Vita titles from PSN.” So that pretty much confirms it. There’s no other information available at the moment, but you should totally trust the guy who said that. He probably had a badge or something. We’ll see what the difference will be in price in the coming weeks.

I wouldn’t trust the guy, but I like what he said.

I think that Steam really paved the way for making more profit on virtual copies of games with their Steam sales. If this is what the PSVita’s marketplace will be like….I’m seriously going to invest in one but I’m only going for a second gen model rather than the first gen models that usually have all the bugs.
