When you were a member of one of the biggest music groups in history and your music just isn’t selling how it used to, what do you do? Why, make music for video games of course. That’s what Paul McCartney is doing. He said in a recent interview that he would be composing tracks for an upcoming, unnamed video game project.
McCartney’s reason for jumping into the world of gaming? “It’s a fascinating market. A new computer game sells so much better than a new CD these days. Young people will hear my music for the first time in a game.” New market, new sales, and maybe kids will finally respect him when he tells them to get off his lawn.
