Alan Wake Developer Discusses PC Delay
Remedy Entertainment, which developed the critically acclaimed Alan Wake for the Xbox 360, is finally set to release the PC version of the game.
Though the developer wanted to release both versions at the same time in 2010, the PC version was pushed back two years, which they say was Microsoft’s decision.
Speaking to Gamasutra, Remedy’s Matias Myllrinne said, “what I can say is that we did take it as soon as we could to the PC, and the stars weren’t aligned when we were shipping for the 360, but we’re happy to be bringing it over to the PC early this year”
In regards to the planned spin-off game, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, Remedy says it will release it at the same time as the original game’s PC launch in February.
