Nintendo Confirms 2012 Launch for Wii-U

If there was any doubt that Nintendo would be able to push out their next generation version of the Wii before the end of 2012, it should be out the window now. Nintendo is confirming that the Wii-U will indeed launch this year. Now, will it be any good?

The news came from the guy in charge at Nintendo, boss man Satoru Iwata. In a press conference covered by Reuters, Iwata stated to the crowd that the console would launch “for the year-end season.” Start up your Christmas list early, everyone.
