Alan Wake Gets PC Release Time Frame

The once PC, then console exclusive, now PC again Alan Wake finally has a release date and specifics for its appearance on PC. The game was re-announced for the PC last month, and while an arcade appearance from Alan Wake is expected to come this year, the PC version of the original title looks like it hasn’t been forgotten.

Dropping in February of 2012, the game will include console DLC add-ons. No word on price, but we do know it is a self-published title from Remedy that will release via Steam. The game will take up 7.5GB of your hard drive and holds the following as minimum specs to run the game:

OS: Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7

PROCESSOR: A dual core processor is required:

AMD: Athlon X2 2.8GHz

Intel: Core 2 Duo 2GHz

MEMORY: 2 GB

HARD DRIVE: 8 GB

VIDEO CARD: DirectX 10 compatible or later with 512MB RAM

AMD: ATI Radeon 3650, 4450, 5550, 6450 or higher (per series)

NVIDIA: GeForce 8600GT, 9500GT, GT120, GT430, GT520 (per series)

SOUND CARD: DirectX 9.0c compatible

INPUT: Mouse and keyboard, Xbox360 controller also supported
