Super Smash Bros. Development for Wii-U May Take A While

While we’d all love to see a launch line-up for the Wii-U that includes the universal favorite fighter Super Smash Bros., it looks like we’re going to be waiting for a bit. This has been confirmed by Masahiro Sakurai in an interview with Nintendo Power.

“I can’t really say anything until things settle down with Kid Icarus, and a lot of it will depend on the team that I end up assembling for Smash Bros. It may take a while, but I think your patience will be rewarded,” Sakurai told Nintendo Power.

With Kid Icarus having a planned release date in March, we’ll hopefully see the Nintendo team go all balls-to-the-wall into the process of bringing us a new Super Smash Bros. Or maybe we should just let them take their time, as that seems to have worked in the past. We’re just so impatient, dammit.
