Red 5 Studios Founds League of Gamers Advocacy Group
Developer Red 5 Studios is no longer just in the business of making games. Now they’re in the business of advocating for them, as well. The studio has decided to form League of Gamers, an advocacy group for game makers and gamers that is meant to represent the interests of the entire community.
The group was formed as an alternative to the Entertainment Software Association’s Video Game Voters Network, which has supported the Stop Online Piracy Act. Clearly the group no longer represents the best interest of gamers, and as such needs to be challenged.
The first act of the LoG: Combat the Protect Intellectual Property Act that is currently in the Senate.
Assuming this organization does what it promises, it has come at the right time to provide exactly what we need. It’s time that gamers have a strong voice that actually represents their opinions. Help them out and join here.
