Namco Notices Dark Souls PC Petition

As much as I love Demon Souls, I still have yet to play Dark Souls. But when DS came out last year it gave newcomers on the Xbox 360 a chance to play a great game. But what about the PC players? Well Namco never released it. Recently a petition surfaced  for Namco Bandai to port Dark Souls to PC platforms, so far 66,000 names have rallied for a PC version of the game. Currently there are no plans from the publisher to move forward and bring the game over to PC, but a post on Namco’s forums has revealed that Namco Corporate (the higher ups) have gotten wind of the petition. Shoupinou, an administrator on the forums had this to say:

“I honestly wasn’t expecting such a massive support,” Namco forums administrator shoupinou writes in a forum post carrying a “Damn you are amazing!” header. “My boss(es) even came to talk to me about this, after it explodes all around the world.”

“If you wanted to have the attention of Namco Bandai Games, now you have it. The future is in your hands, and I hope you will keep supporting this. I make a personal objective to make sure every relevant people in Namco Bandai Games is in touch with this formidable effort. Great Thanks!”

So if you’re a PC gamer and want Dark Souls, be heard and sign the petition!
