Yesterday, a community manager for Blizzard supposedly confirmed that Diablo III would be making an appearance on consoles. How did he confirm it? When he was asked on Twitter if the game would be on consoles, he responded, “Yep.” Sounds like a confirmation to me. Well, today he’s saying “nope.” Or rather, “Yes but I have to backtrack now because I told you something I wasn’t supposed to so, nope.”

According to Blizzard and the community manager, the company is currently exploring the possibility of bringing the game to consoles, but there is nothing official as of this moment. So while Blizzard would prefer to pretend they have no interest in consoles, we’ll let you know when the release date is announced.
