SW:TOR Wins Guinness Award for Being a Chatty Cathy
One of the Most Ambitious games of 2011 was recently awarded a Guinness world record. Not for being the bestest game ever nor the craziest use of wookie skin to be featured in a video game.
In this case, the team at Bioware has received the award for the “Most voice acting in a video game.” This award came about since the team had recorded over 200,000 lines of dialogue and a few hundred actors, there really has not yet been much competition. That however, can change with time as other companies are searching to one-up Bioware’s epic MMO. I might just make my next game to have 200,001 lines of dialog…just to prove a point.
Congratulations to everyone involved in this award and best of luck to keep it in the coming months/years, just keep adding more lines to keep up with the competition through your expansion packs and updates.
The 2012 Gamer’s Edition of the Guinness Book of world records is available now. If you would like to be in this book all you have to do is just add one!
