We all had a pretty good idea that there would be another entry into the God of War series. We finally may have received what has been our best bet at confirmation before “official” confirmation, and it has come from the game’s composer.
Timothy Williams, who has also been behind the music of DOTA 2, listed on his resume that he has been working on the soundtrack for God of War IV. Sony has responded to the listing by saying, “We do not comment on rumors or speculation about our products.” Luckily, Williams does. He reported that he is, “working on it in the capacity of orchestrations and some additional music,” but that Tyler Bates is leading up the project and deserves all credit as the main composer. Thanks for not giving a f*** about secrecy, Tim!
