A new job post on the World of Warcraft‘s Developer, Blizzard’s site points to a possible port of the new Diablo 3 in the works. Previously there hasn’t been a Diablo game on consoles since ps1. The post says they’re looking for a “Senior Software Engineer Console Network”. But that only makes me wonder if they would abandon using the PSN and XBL all together and use battle.net or something similar to Valve’s “Steamworks” portal for Portal 2, cross-platform gaming even. If there is one company that can pull this off, it’s Blizzard, so there’s some good news for us console owners out there to hold on to. It’s all too soon confirm anything, hopefully we will hear something at next years E3 or Blizzcon.
