Harmonix Owed $383 Million by Viacom
Viacom was ordered to pay Hamonix $383 million in a legal dispute over unpaid bonuses.
The media giant of course is disputing the decision.
Harmonix had sued Viacom over claims that they were not paid bonuses stemming from Rock Band sales hitting specific sales goals. Most of the bonuses were paid out in 2007 but the ’08 bonuses were not dished out, according to the lawsuit.
Kotaku reports that the accountants involved in the arbitration say Harmonix is due an extra $383 million as part of the original acquisition by Viacom.
Let the battle continue.
