Too Many Complaints Shut Down SWTOR’s Customer Service Line

It’s probably not a good sign when the amount of customer service calls your company receives is so overwhelming that the server crashes. So good luck getting whatever it is you’re complaining about fixed.

The Twitter feed for Star Wars: The Old Republic have confirmed the suspicions, stating, “Customer Service phone lines are currently unavailable. We’re working on a resolution as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.”

This really only brings up one question in my mind: Does anyone that plays SWTOR file complaints online, or are they taking the “Old” part of the game literally and solving their issues the old-fashioned way? I didn’t know there still were call hotlines for such things. I assume most called from landlines and are waiting to receive a message on their pager telling them the server is back up.
