If you’ve been holding out until the very last minute to purchase a Christmas gift for a friend (or maybe for yourself), now might be a good time. The digital version of Battlefield 3 will be half off for the PC all weekend through EA’s Origin service.

The press release has only come out in the UK, so it’s unclear whether it will be coming to America, but keep checking Origin this weekend to find out. Seriously though, it’s a great gift option since you don’t have to wrap it because, let’s be honest, your wrapping abilities are terrible and everyone laughs at them. Oh, is that just a me thing?
