We had first heard that the upcoming PlayStation Vita would have the option to have only user id available to play games… Not too long after that, Sony had said that we would be able to use multiple login IDs.

So now we have the verdict on which one of these is the true fact. Wired finally was able to put the squeeze on Sony and get them to admit which one is the correct answer. Well, in order to control the user experience on the Vita, they have limited the number of accounts on the unit to one.

What does that mean for us? For one, we will not be able to easily access the PlayStation stores of other countries like we can on the PS3. You still can access the other countries with your accounts, but you will have to completely wipe the data from the Vita in order to do it. It might be worth it for a really awesome game, but for the rest of us, it sounds like a total pain.
