Rayman is back, again in the PS Vita version of Rayman Origins. Origins for the Vita is similar to the PS3 version in basically every way except for the inclusion of touch controls. With the PS Vita version, you are able to pinch to zoom which enables you to take a closer look at the artwork in the background. This small detail will give graphics fanatics a new way to appreciate the stunning artwork of Rayman Origins.

Origins plays like any other 2D side scrolling Rayman adventure. You have your punching, jumping, and lum rescuing along with the  many adventures that Origins will bring to you. As usual there are six cages per stage/level which have lums that you need to rescue. Overall, the experience of playing Rayman Origins on the Vita was fantastic. It felt like a real Rayman game and didn’t feel too much different than playing on a console. If you’ve got your Vita on pre-order and haven’t played Rayman Origins yet, you definitely will want this title. Rayman Origins for the PS Vita launches February 22, 2012.
