Planned to launch in January of next year, Sega has pushed back Anarchy Reigns. Instead the beat’em up game will be released July 3 in North America, July 6 in Europe, and July 5 in Australia. Sega did have something to say about the push back though.  Gary Knight,  US Senior Vice President of Marketing, suggested something along the lines of  new content:

“I can’t reveal much now,” he said, “but it’s something to do with scale. Let’s just say traditional one on one or two versus two fighters will be a thing of the past …”

If they can do anything like what we saw in the recent MGR: Revengance trailer, lets hope he’s talking about “Shadow of the Colossus” scale.
