Nintendo Announces Early 2012 Game Line-Up
With December nearly out of the way, Nintendo has today announced its software launch line-up for the early part of 2012.
Leading the way is Capcom’s Resident Evil: Revelations for the Nintendo 3DS, which arrives on Feb. 7. The handheld also gets additional third party support with Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, which is slated for a Q1 2012 release.
Additional game releases for the 3DS include Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 (January), Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (Feb. 14), Crush 3D (Q1 2012), Rayman Origins(Q1 2012) and Tekken 3D Prime Edition (February), to name a few.
As for its first party efforts, Nintendo is giving gamers the long awaited return of Pit with Kid Icarus: Uprising on March 23, also for the Nintendo 3DS, while the handheld also sees the release of the optional Circle Pad, whcih adds a second analog stick for the 3DS on Feb. 7 in the United States.
The Nintendo Wii will also get 2K Sports’ MLB 2K12 on March 6, along with Karaoke Joysound from Konami during Q1 2012, while Nintendo will publish Rhythm Heaven Fever(Feb. 13), PokePark 2: Wonders Beyond (Feb. 27) and Mario Party 9 (March 11).
