It was revealed earlier this year that Nintendo is bringing the extra analogue stick accessory to the States. The attachment will have two shoulder buttons in addition to the analogue stick to help with games like the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater and Resident Evil: Revelations.
In a surprising move, Nintendo had announced today that Gamestop will be the sole distributor of the attachment in the US. What does this mean for us? It could mean that many retailers are not confident in the success of this accessory. It might just simply mean that Gamestop just put up a lot of money to have the corner of this market.
With not many games being announced for the attachment, it brings one to wonder if we will ever see the Monster Hunter here in the States as well now that many people will not be able to play it without shopping at one store.
The only way that I would see this being sold in other stores is if there will be upcoming Bundle packs that include the accessory in the future.
If all else fails, you can always import it.
