Wii U Priced at $600 on EB Australia

We knew that the new Nintendo console probably wasn’t going to be cheap when Satoru Iwata said, “This thing is not going to be cheap.” (We’re really good at reading into things.) Well, now we know just how not cheap it will be. At least in Australia.

The Wii U popped up on the website Electronics Boutique of Australia with a $598 AUS price tag. If you put that through a conversion machine (or a calculator), that translates to about $450 USD, which is still a bit pricy. Then again, it’s got a freaking tablet in the controller so, it’s going to be a little on the expensive side. It’s uncharacteristic of Nintendo, but maybe this is their foray into serious gaming.

This article isn’t accurate Australia pay’s more for video games than everyone else even without the exchange rate. A 60 $ game in the U.S cost 80 $ in Australia without the exchange rate. Plus how can you rely on the website Electronics Boutique of Australia. The gamestop website said the vita was going to cost 1000 $ it cost 250 $

F that. I think the price will be around 300-400 at most.
