You Can Now Play Bastion in Your Chrome Browser

In the news of “How many different ways do you want to play your game?” Critically acclaimed title Bastion is now available for play within your chrome browser. The game will run at 14.99 but they wont ask you for it until you have finished playing the prologue of the game. Either that or you can just unlock the full game at the title screen.

Word of warning though, even if the game is playable within a chrome browser, it does help to have a somewhat newer computer that will be able to run the game smoothly. I found that my browser was causing the music to sound choppy and the graphics stuttered during game play. Mind you, I have been playing the game on a laptop that is about four years old.

This is a nice step toward cloud gaming that we have been waiting for, hopefully, you will be able to transfer your save files if you were to play it on different computers. that is to be seen.

I think that this is a great addition to the versatility of the Chrome Store. Since the game is priced at 14.99 it is still the same price at other outlets like Steam. Even though it runs now in a web browser you still don’t get all of the features  like trophies and achievement points that you do with the other services.

Bastion is a great game and now that it is on almost EVERYTHING, you don’t have an excuse not to try it.
