I have to say, the track record for games turned into films is pretty abysmal. I mean, the highest reviewed video game movie is Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within and the highest live-action one is a tie between Mortal Kombat and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. None of those have more than 43% positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. So of course when an awesome trailer comes out, it’s not real. Regardless, check out this fan made trailer for a Left 4 Dead movie. Then try not to actually want it to happen. Just prepare for your love of the game to be shattered if it ever becomes a studio film, because there’s some sort of curse or something.
